written on the clubhouse door,
because legends are human.
I will follow you anywhere
suitably hydrated, then demobbed
in the Arizona desert.
Behold The Cave Of Reason,
much better than a dusty clubhouse
and your mother’s provincial sandwiches.
The sunsets here are dramatic,
my headaches and carpal tunnel
softly pressed between cactus flowers.
